Tom Lehrer - The Remains Of - WAV CD rip
The great 1950s/‘60s humourist/satirist, piano, vocal and witty caustic songs. Inspired to play this by the conversation in the Jokes thread, Lehrer claims to have invented the Jell-O shot.
Plex has indexed this weirdly, some tracks are out of order, the live versions of 3 songs inserted after their versions in the studio album.

Will Hoge - Tiny Little Movies - Tidal 16/44
His new one, another belting country rocker. He’s kept the anger from My American Dream, but this one seems to have a ray of hope. He writes great songs, and sings them with true passion, really moving music. Like its predecessor this album runs in at around 40 minutes, old school vinyl length, but no complaints from me, 40 minutes of music this good is fine by me. Thanks @anon62442222 for the tip-off, the vinyl and Cd copies are on their way.

Yes I think we often turn to music to remind us of different times of our lives but also for other reasons we visit music that would have been part of the lives of friends or family that are no longer with us. I often find myself listening to compilations of hits of the 50s and find it comforting hearing music that would have been listened to and loved by those that I hold so dear.
