Read a glowing review of a band called Haim in today’s paper, for the new album Women In Music Part III. It’s not on Qobuz, unless I’ve missed it, but it led to a random stab at an earlier album:

It’s very good, very well produced and very well -performed. And it just occurred that it’s Haim on the Naim so was worthing posting on the strength of that alone.

Ayo - Ayo

Taking a random pick from Qobuz for a late Friday afternoon spin. Ayo has a lovely voice and a nice beat. The following is a comment from the all music website. “The self-titled fifth album from Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Ayo is a collection of soulful, sometimes reggae-tinged folk songs.” The album is sounding mighty sweet!

Sounds great doesn’t it! Not sure why a digital recording sounds so analogue, the genius of Mobile Fidelity I guess

Leon Bridges debut album Coming Home, got a wonderful 60s soul vibe. Excellent hi res file.
