Didn’t get along with the sound and music on the ‘Layla’ live album being mentioned elsewhere on the forum. This is closer to the Allman Brothers pedigree (and sounds better) but I’m not wholly convinced I get the blend of genres.

I’ll persevere.

Once got invited to one of Bob’s parties and was as high as a kite when I walked into the room because of the amount of Ganja being smoked. Never saw him in amongst the crowd wouldn’t have been able to in any case as I was so out of it. I seemed to take me days to come back down again.

Page and the Black Crowes. Live in 1999. Great songs, great band. Love the Crowes, they have that sort of Rolling Stones sleaze. Plus it is well recorded.
