Sean Rowe | The Darkness Dressed in Coloured Lights
This one has been a bit of a strange release (certainly as far as the UK is concerned). It dropped last week and seems to be only available on bandcamp for immediate purchase on CD, Vinyl and download. Another lovely album from the man.

Simon & Garfunkel - Bookends - WAV CD rip
Folk rock loose concept album, with wonderful songs and heavenly harmonies.

Lovely live performance of Mendelssohn’s overture to a Midsummer Night’s Dream. If there are prettier chord sequences than the opening and closing moments I am not sure what they are

Lee Harvey Osmond - The Folk Sinner

Second album from Canadian Tom Wilson. Album has a bit of everything, rock, blues, folk.
Makes my think of J.J. Cale on certain tracks like Honey Runnin’.
Some categorize it as psychedelic folk whatever that is.
Anyway,I like it.

An evening spent with Jordi Savall and his interpretations of Couperin is an evening well spent. Stunning-sounding on SACD:

Foy Vance - Signs of Life - 16/44 WAV download
Foy’s latest slice of singer-songwriter goodness, and it’s a collection of excellent folk rock songs. He brings out the feelings of the songs, backed by a tight band. Another top-notch album from Bangor’s finest.
