Been listening to Steve Hackett of late and Nad Sylvan handles a lot of vocals for him. This Nad Sylvan album released this year sounds pretty good, good cast of musicians too.

So sad to hear of the passing of Ngoni McKay from Misty In Roots on the 1st October

Strangely, unknowingly the Saturday week before last I had an evening playing MIR records

Listening to Public Service Broadcasting as @gav_sw20 mentioned them in another thread.

It is looking like a am getting addicted instantly.
Thank you very much. I really like it.

Now spinning:

„The Race For Space“. Perfect album to me as I am a huge space travel fan. :woman_astronaut: Always nice when two hobbies are coming together …

Good work.

The albums MUST be listen to in full to appreciate what’s going on with the development of the stories.

The best albums IMO are as follows:

  • The Race For Space (pretty obvious theme here )
  • Every Valley (all about the rise / fall of coal mines in Wales
  • White Star Liner (Titanic)

Try to see them live (they are currently touring but only a few dates left) as they are sublime.

Also, check out the Albert Hall Proms performance that’s on YouTube.

Edit: the new album is Berlin-themed which you may like

Thanks for additional comment on this.
I have now listened to “The Race For Space” and “Bright Magic”.
“Every Valley” is now playing. So “White Star Liner” will be next based on your reply.
Thanks for mentioning them in the System Pics Thread. You made my day!!
