Shakin Stevens,Echoes Of Our Times, surprisingly good album from 2018,definitely not what you might expect.
Four Tet Paws EP, promo white label.
Don’t know what genre this music is, but it sure ain’t prog! Second track is whimsical though…
The latter track allegedly inspired by an especially potent vindaloo Bryan had recently consumed.
Back from a walk ending in a gorgeous - in fact lipstick - sunset so it had to be JH’s (for me) finest hour Bring the Family on Demon vinyl.
Dylan Thomas - Under Milk Wood, A Play For Voices, on vinyl. Been enjoying spinning this double album from the late 80s this afternoon, just as a change to music. A Fabulous cast including Alan Bennet, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Knopfler, Tom Jones, Bonnie Tyler and produced by George Martin. Album cover also resplendent with a superb cover illustration from the very talented Ian Pollock.
Colfax The Delines.
It’s just sublime. While I’m fortunate to not have to choose, I think this is better than Imperial.
Wonder what the new album will be like (haven’t played the 45 yet).
Not come across Terry Reid before so prompted by a post from @dave-marshall
streaming from tidal:
Terry Reid - the driver
liking it a lot
He’s the guy who, due to tour commitments, had to turn down Jimmy Page’s invitation to join the reforming New Yardbirds, who soon became Led Zep.
He recommended Planty instead, and the rest … … … is history.
