Arrived this morning
Deep Purple Fireball Rhino 2018/19 mastered half speed at Alchemy and pressed at Optimal.
My original vinyl of this and In Rock are another of those “lost” albums from my collection. Glad to have them back.
Lovely package, textured gatefold sleeve, poly lined sleeve and insert.
Not usually a fan of coloured vinyl but so far this is nice and quiet (not the music!) And flat.

Also picked up In Rock similarly pressed and mastered

Fireball is good, but the SQ on this is better

Lo’Jo’s new album - transe de Papier - the usual mix of chanson and North African with a few beats thrown in. Sung more in English than before. Guest appearances from Tony Allen and, on spoken word, national treasure Robert Wyatt. Last time we saw them in a local dance studio Denis played keys barefoot - Lady BC’s delicate sensibilities meant she couldn’t watch!

Paul Simon - Graceland

ZZ Top - Tres Hombres.

A great bit of southern rock to kick the weekend off!
