Stephen Fretwell, Magpie
I think he will go down as one of the preeminent composers of the 20th century. The volume of quality work is just staggering, and the musicians that played in his bands speaks to the level of musicianship required to execute his “Object Project” - they enjoyed being pushed to their musical limits.
