What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

I’m very familiar (think most of us are) with Smooth Operator was going to play that.

Starting the day with my favourite AV release, sounding excellent as always.

Delta Kream featured album of the day just now on Lauren Laverne. I didnt realise it was an album of covers, explains why I thought some of it sounded a bit familiar, doh!

Sara K. & Chris Jones, live in concert, are we there yet. I have listened to quite a few Sara K albums before but never this. This is awesome. I am totally there!

Ditto… I did exactly the same when my new setup landed about a month ago.

John Lennon. Walls and bridges. I think it was @AlanP who prompted me to play this 2010 cd reissue.
An unfairly neglected album.

Not my favourite album but it’s certainly has the sonics to test a new setup.

It’s got some great tracks. Sadly I think John’s work in general has been neglected, shame.

London Grammer - “Californian Soil” (2021)

The dedicated thread has been interesting. Nice to see a mp3 on a car radio player seems to have put a positive sway overall. Being critical for no reason does not make you a better listener. Enjoy it or set it aside, life goes on.

I love the introduction to Led Zeppelin. First track immigrant song. Reminds me of Thor: Ragnarok.

Been streaming this since release day. Interestingly seems to be getting a mixed reception from casual listeners and fans alike.
As a PW fan I think I may have got carried away with my first impressions just because it’s a new PW album, I previously said I thought it might be his best yet, having listened to it more I think maybe a bit of hyperbole on my part.
It’s good but I’m not sure it’s as good as what’s gone before since 22 Dreams
