Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… a mention from @JLA above had me place ‘Translations’ into the queue and now taking out for a spin and the choir is sounding sublime! A beautiful album and fitting in perfectly for this peaceful Sunday morning.

Having a post match chill out with this beautifully executed reissue mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling for the Acoustic Sounds series it’s flawless sonically and on par with the two Analogue Productions Nat King Cole reissues I used to own A1.
I bought this for £18 because it had damage to the jacket this turned out to be a half inch long tear to the inner spine where the printed tip on lining had separated from the thick cardboard so a non issue really for an almost half price record.

Listening to this cover of the Beatles Sgt Peppers on Youtube as I don’t own the vinyl yet I’m especially enjoying Mkaya McCraven’s version of LSD excellent.

Very good and very enjoyable psychedelic rock by a Liverpool band new to me. Only EP length I’ve been playing these three tracks an awful lot, thanks to @Nick.Lees once again.
