What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

Aaah the Wellie. A second home when I lived in a grotty flat on Wenlock Terrace for a year in the mid 70s. The legendary Sandy behind the bar. I imagine the area has gone seriously upmarket these days.

Enough memories. It’s going to be a Blue Note night starting with Tina Brooks with a damn fine band True Blue on vinyl.

I bought this Curtis Mayfield boxset and the first album was badly warped. I tried replacement copies from different suppliers and all had the same fault. In the end, I got the CD version instead. Others seem to have been more fortunate, especially those who bought the box set when it first came out. I seem to recall Richard Dane was one person who got a perfect boxset.
