The lucky souls on this forum who have them, all seeem to agree that by far the best-sounding Led Zep CDs are the Japanese SHM-CD versions from about 10 years ago. Nobody knows why they should sound so good (they’re just the old Marino masters), but they do. Here’s the Brown Bomber.

Great souvenirs, bought this one on 8 tracks cartridge back in 1975

On BBC2 with BBC Symphony Orchestra. Joined by guests an playing from new Fat Pop album plus some classics. The Beeb are so good at this, sounds really good … for TV.
