Playing “Editors” to Mrs QS as triggered by @By-Tor’s recent post.
Started with EBM, which she really liked, so we’ve gone back to the beginning and are now listening to their debut album “The Black Room”.
PS… that NP lyric really resonates with me too @By-Tor, I’m pleased that you have come through your tough week relatively emotionally intact. Hang in there…
Looks great.
Amazon assure me that mine will be here before 10pm today…
One of the great lies of our time, along with “your call is important to us”. Hope I’m wrong!
…so do I!
Neil. Live. Acoustic. Reason enough.
@QuickSticks - thank you.
In terms of Editors, can I also recommend ‘Violence’ - which is the original album, and ‘The Blanck Mass Sessions’ which is the version Editors had returned to them when they sent a draft of the album to Blanck Mass and asked him to ‘spice it up’. Very intersting contrast and the genesis of the EBM project.
Mrs QS has dozed off in the middle of “The Black Room”
No reflection on the album, she’s just worn out and looking forward to our holiday.
We’ll try a bit of “Violence” later, when I wake her up…
