I think that was just the cinema release, I may be wrong though.
Schoolboy error on my part (what a numpty ), my player does not output more than 1080! Pioneer BDP320. Forgot about checking the basics first.
Apologies to all if it is 4k!

Yes, but I suppose they thought that it’s only the hardcore fans that want those
Robin Mayhew’s release has them.
A great job on the remastering though.
What I now need to know is is the bluray 4k, hadn’t realised my player (old) only outputs 1080!
Edit, apologies I was meaning the missing pieces was the Mike Garson melody.
A great concept album, about the personal scary experience of the leader of the band, as almost all albums of Pain of Salvation, great…
Henry Mancini. Breakfast at Tiffany’s soundtrack.
Yes I know I only played it yesterday but had to play again. Wonderful orchestration and several versions of the beautiful Moon River.
For all my Huckleberry friends.
Not the most fashionable of bands even at the time but this live album is a better representation their sound than any of their studio efforts. Just before they got really big and to my ears a bit mawkish.
No, ignore me @krautnaimie I’m getting confused (more and more lately ) with the Robin Mayhew version that has the full introductions/ode to Joy. This new release has the proper intros on, it’s just missing the Mike Garson melody pre show.
I’ll only buy the vinyl version if it drops in price, and that’s coming from a die hard vinyl user!
ah,ok
my retailer shows that the last 3 tracks on CD 2
9. Round And Round (feat. Jeff Beck)
10. Farewell Speech
11. Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide (Finale: Pomp and Circumstance by Edward Elgar)
are missing on the Vinyl version? Is this correct? confuses me
Didn’t he also play football for Leyton Orient?
I’ve not got the vinyl version but all the promos show this:
DISC 4:
There’s no way they’d miss off these, especially as the JB inclusion is one of their main selling points!
Oh no! I’m having to listen to BBC Radio 3 on the ND555 today because the nearest FM transmitter is down for ‘Essential engineering work’ today and the NAT-01 is silent
I hope it’s back up and running again in time for this evening’s prom.
I think that, sad as many of the songs are, this is the best album they/he has produced in a very long time.
