What are you listening to in 2023 and why might anyone be interested?

Joni Mitchell, at Newport (live). Really enjoy this. Wonderful voice at 78.

Babe Ruth - First Base

At the time Jenny Haan had one of the great female rock voices - very joplinesque.

Excellent guitar playing from Alan Shacklock and a superb driving bass.

First three Harvest label albums in flac on Juno download for £12 in all - an absolute bargain.

Brandi Carlile, in these silent days. Listening to one of the Joni Jammers after the Joni Mitchell live album. Throwing good after bad is a beautiful song.

This is the best sounding live album I’ve heard - hats off to the team who captured this back in the '70s.

2022 Blue Note Classic Series

Bought it 2 weeks ago for a tenner. Lovely record and beautifully pressed this time. Ordered one in May that was horrible and sent back. Fantastic musicians who show nice harmony. I especially love Elvin Jones playing on Drums. BTW an iconic Blue Note Cover. Nice one to start on a Sunday morning when the heat wave came to an end :+1:
