@AndyP at the moment is only on vinyl. It may appear on other formats/platforms later in the year. IIRC, this is the first time Tribal Dance has been reissued (apart from a limited edition Japan-only CD issued in 2001) in any form since 1977.

Genesis live shows with Peter Gabriel - Archieve #1 (1967 - 1975) on Qobuz

I discovered Genesis on Lamb and always missed seeing and hearing Gabriel perform that album and Supper’s Ready with them. I had no idea these recordings lay buried on this album and mighty fine they sound too. Interesting review on the site explaining how band members reacted to the recording. Well worth a listen.

Reading Henry Threadgill’s excellent autobiography - much talk of his influences including Ornette. So put some on to complement the book. Should really have gone for The Shape of Jazz or somesuch but haven’t listened to this 90s offering with a reformed Prime Time in ages. Downright funky!

It’s s pity they didn’t include the whole show. It’s a reasonable length but you would have thought there would be more.

Agreed the cover is a bit misleading. Long live rock n’ roll n’ Qobuz sublime.
