Heard this version of RVW’s Concerto for Oboe and Strings on R3 recently and thought it was absolutely beautiful so playing it again from Qobuz
17-18 years ago on the older version of this forum I asked for my hand to be held a bit as I dipped my toe in classical (apologies for mixed metaphors) and George J (Frederik Fiske at the time) and some others came up with a few suggestions which I bought but in reality I never listened to them very much (as I also asked at the time about Jazz!).

Started off with the vinyl version of this tonight, triple album two tracks per side. Got fed up with changing side and gone back to Qobuz. I guess I know where I stand regarding formats
