Jakob Bro - December Song
Jakob Bro (Guitar), Bill Frisell (Guitar), Lee Konitz (Alto Saxophone), Thomas Morgan (Bass) and Craig Taborn (Piano).
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… easing into this cool and gray overcast morning with the beautiful and relaxing music from Jakob and friends and they are sounding sublime!
I had always assumed that Joan Osborne was a one-hit-wonder, with her ‘Relish’ album, and the ‘One Of Us’ single taken from it.
The Durutti Column’s second album, LC, from 1981. Original Factory Records vinyl pressing, bought the day it came out in November '81.
Joan Osbourne - I’ll Be Around
@anon70766008 she has had quite a few very good solo albums since Relish. Have a listen to the Trigger Hippy album, that I posted earlier. An Americana roots album featuring drummer Steve Gorman (The Black Crowes), singer Joan Osborne, singer-guitarist-keyboardist Jackie Greene, Tom Bukovac on guitar and Nick Govrik on bass/vocals.
Thanks, John, I will investigate.
