Louis Armstrong - Rare Performances of 50’s and 60’s.
Inspired by a most enjoyable afternoon of hifi, and more specifically LP12, chat with Clive, whose records I bought a couple of years ago. This being one of them.

Now playing…
Rag’n’Bone Man - Human
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/24)… continuing on this morning with ‘Human’ and the music is sounding mighty fine!
It’s the 1997 Impulse remastered CD ripped to Core.
I have the half speed release of Who’s Next, which arrived last week. I’ve only listened to it once, just to check for clicks and pops etc. (can’t imagine anything could be heard through this racket anyway), but haven’t been able to play at realistic levels yet owing to the neighbour’s cat being in the room!
Trapeze - Medusa - 1970
Quite a chequered past this rock band has, with various members joining Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Judas Priest along the way. Pretty good I reckon.
Added to the queue - cheers!
Also added to the queue! I remember a friend raving about him some time ago, but somehow never got round to listening. So many albums, so little time!
Will be interested in your feedback once youve been able to play it realistically.
now you’re talking.
It’s a classic Infected Mushroom track… bass really kicks and fast ain’t in it!
I’ve got a couple on CD, B.P. Empire a fave
Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell - 1980
I like pretty much everything Ronald James Padavona has sung on.
Great album, enjoy
Yes, so far, so good, but who signed off on that awful cover art?
