What are you listening to in 2023 and why might anyone be interested?


Abandoned/incomplete follow up to Pacific Ocean Blue.

Some amazing songs here, amongst the slurred and sozzled vocal performances of Dennis and brother Carl.

The version of Only With You, is far superior to the one the BB recorded on Holland. (That’s actually on the disc 2 of CD version of POB, not here though).

A-ha. Analogue. 2005. Most of the albums they released when they matured and not many people were listening any more were excellent imho. This is one of them.

Pretty great vocals throughout, though the music borders on Journey/Foreigner/Chicago in places.

Watched the film today for the nth time, where n is a big number! The band was on fire for this. This reminds me why I was so hooked on the band in my youth. Jimmy’s playing is off the scale.
