That’s a great album.
Sorry can’t give that a like
Horrible isn’t it! Freebie from Vox Mag.
Found myself singing Wooden Ships in the shower (badly), so:
There’s been a lot of posting about Rush here of late. I am fond of them, despite the fact that they completely lost me after Power Windows; they were the third band I ever saw live, back in May '79 at Hammersmith Odeon (they did a few oldies plus stuff from AFTK and Hemispheres). I also saw them a year later at the Brighton Centre. On this 1976 double live LP they make a hell of a din. Love it! This is the vinyl copy I bought back in 1978.
Love that track
Yes and I’ve got a copy filed away somewhere.
Vox magazine included some excellent cds as did Mojo.
I once started to transfer the best tracks from all the free cds but gave up.
Been in the cabin doing some sorting out ready for tomorrow (for details of that see System Pics thread).
Not had time to post Rush: Moving Pictures & Candy Dulfer Big Girl that I played earlier.
Now listening to this:
Great band Dirkus
A work mate put it on a CD compilation years ago and amongst the other stuff on it
He put the Trip as the starter and and I adored it.Just a beautiful song and lyric.
Fabulous musicians and shes got a really great voice
Thanks for posting
Hi Tabby, I still think that the debut album is Stills best effort
