George Harrison - All Things Pass 50th Super Deluxe, listening to disc five which features outtakes and jams.
Here we go…UK A3\B3, third pressing.
An initial quick clean and so far…no nasties beyond the odd pop or two
Fairly leaps out of the speakers. Impressive.

Resisted the Third Man pressed Verve By Request re issue so far due to the very mixed feedback on Discogs concerning both sound and pressing quality. @steviebee I seem to recall you recently bought a copy, whats your impression?
Sigh…a scratch on Lunatic Is On The Grass. Not too distracting but still…after now hearing the A3, I’ll go back on the hunt for an EX copy.
Ah well, seller’s description of VG was accurate after all.
I didn’t buy, Dread. Decided to stay with my original. I may be tempted if I come across the reissue in future, but quite happy with my old copy otherwise.
Argent - 1970
This has got me interested in finding a Rod Argent/Gary Moore original cassette I have somewhere, just can’t track it down anywhere else which is bugging me. Probably mid-late 80’s, and some great guitarwork on it.
Another album I have multiples of (let’s not even talk about how many copies of Aoxomoxoa are on my shelves!) Latest to join the flock is the Chris Bellman VMP:
Grateful Dead Anthem Of The Sun
Bass is strong in this one!
Men At Work - Cargo.
The album is ‘Moving Home’ (1978) - Phil Collins plays drums and Phil’s Brand X man Robin Lumley (cousin of Joanna) is the producer.
I think I have tried that one, but it doesn’t have the scorching Moore track on it … i think a visit to the loft (oh no!) and a root through the ancient cassette vault is the only answer. Thanks anyway.
Ill Considered -Liminal Space (3 sided LP)
Brilliant debut from a couple of years or so back sounding fantastic. Improvisational intense groovy wig outs!
Lovely textured gatefold sleeve and art which at the same time is infurating as the credits are rendered pretty much illegible to my peepers.
Instead I’ll lazily copy the blurb from Bandcamp
Free-wheeling live improvisers Ill Considered open a new chapter with their first fully produced studio album on New Soil, Liminal Space, featuring Tamar Osborn, Sarathy Korwar, Theon Cross and more.
Having exploded onto the scene with 9 self-released albums between 2017 and 2019, UK-based outfit Ill Considered are breaking new ground with their first fully produced studio album and an interactive audio/visual performance residency at Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room, this autumn.
Capturing a moment of transformation for the group, Liminal Space not only features a new core line-up of Idris Rahman (saxophone), Liran Donin (bass) and Emre Ramazanoglu (drums), but also sees Ill Considered bounce their live-wire style off a range of collaborators such as Collocutor’s Tamar Osborn, Steam Down saxophonist Ahnanse, tuba player Theon Cross and percussionist Sarathy Korwar.
