Eagles, hell freezes over.
The Dream Academy - The Dream Academy
Produced by Dave Gilmour
My copy is perfect, flat, centred and quiet, well almost just one pop on the last track and non lined paper inners, standard sort of weight not 180g which isnt important. Nice textured gatefold. Very pleased with it.
Revisiting after a month and this really stands up, a fine album indeed.

Weird Nightmare: Meditations on Mingus an album by Hal Willner
Hal Willner put together some interesting albums here he has five of my favourite guitarists Bill Frisell, Gary Lucas, Marc Ribot, Robert Quine and Vernon Reid.
A bloke called Charlie Watts on drums with Keith Richards on guitar and vocals.
Vocals from Robbie Robertson, Elvis Costello, Henry Rollins, Hubert Selby Jr.(!) the extraordinary Diamanda Galas, Leonard Cohen and Dr. John.
And probably the greatest ever live band - they were just something else on stage.
I listened to this album so much after it came out I’ve convinced myself I was there - I wasn’t, although I spent a lot of time at the Marquee around this period. I saw them at their Hammersmith Odeon gig which tbh was too big for them.
I saw them a number of times at my local venue around the time of the Third Degree album - they were top of their game.
They’re still at it……
