I would love to own an original LP.
The early 90s CD copy i have sounds a bit loud and not well digitally mastered (by George Marino) especially the 21:55 minutes of The Gates Of Delirium.
But Yes a fab album though

Had to reach for this after waking up from a weird dream and needing to exorcise a resulting earworm.
I get on a bus and the driver recognises me as Mike Oldfield, I reply that I’m not Mike Oldfield and for some reason I cant remember we namecheck the members of Deep Purple, the bus then takes me on a strange astral journey, when it lands I’m playing with Deep Purple Smoke On The Water in front of an audience of bonkers looking extra terrestrials
