I listened to this Monday with a friend, who’s a big Yes fan but had never heard it.
Fabulous album👍🏼

I would love to own an original LP.
The early 90s CD copy i have sounds a bit loud and not well digitally mastered (by George Marino) especially the 21:55 minutes of The Gates Of Delirium.
But Yes a fab album though :slightly_smiling_face:

I hope this doesn’t depress you too much😬
A1/B1 original. The media is in Mint Condition, the sleeve is looking a little old now though.
Only played a half dozen times at most.
Bought it years ago from a friend who had it from new😁
He stopped listening to yes so I bought this and Tales From Topographic Oceans off him for a tenner I think…

Weird coincidence following the above post!

Had to reach for this after waking up from a weird dream and needing to exorcise a resulting earworm.
I get on a bus and the driver recognises me as Mike Oldfield, I reply that I’m not Mike Oldfield and for some reason I cant remember we namecheck the members of Deep Purple, the bus then takes me on a strange astral journey, when it lands I’m playing with Deep Purple Smoke On The Water in front of an audience of bonkers looking extra terrestrials

Inspired by Radio 3 last night. Played Riversong, with " singing" synthesiser. In 1971 that was amazing, now all sorts of devices can talk.

He records his best album of songs and only records these songs for this album. It would have made a great studio album.

Me too, I first heard it with the Columbia Legacy 2LP that has both mixes. In a nutshell I think Iggy’s is more Punk, in the spirit that it should be
