Lambchop - Nixon. Why? I’ve recently acquired it on vinyl and it sounds sublime on this format. Furthermore, I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by more recent releases and this serves as a brilliant reminder of what they are capable of.

Following Richard Betts with The Allmans Brothers and Sisters…magnificent. bought in 1973 from Virgin Birmingham. The 2 or 3 pounds burning a hole in my pocket.
A piece I’ve loved since I was a teenager, made all the more poignant since I had it played at my Mum’s funeral a few years ago. Desert Island Disc for sure:
