Great song. Saw them live in about 79. His art is amazing!!
I saw them in London when “drivers seat” charted……think it was the Lyceum ballroom.
I missed must of Glastonbury, so at my leisure I am still playing catch up on iPlayer.
Stand out gigs for me have been LCD Soundsystem and Yard Act.
Yard Act, The Overload.

Love that album, some great lyrics on it
The Grateful Dead - Europe 72. Just purchased this album on CD (50th anniversary release) and thoroughly enjoyed my first listen to it.
More great music on vinyl from the shelves. Memories of seeing them in a terrific live gig at Leeds Uni. Sadly can’t wind the clock back but if I close my eyes I’m back in the student Union hall with Mrs twofifty for a while. The paisley underground.
Jazz singer Carol Kidd
The sound is exceptional on Linn Records as you would expect
Carol Kidd - Nice Work
Cuba in the living room. A new release I’ve been looking forward to. Listening to an excellent Qobuz stream.
This is a very fine trio album. The Italian label Cam Jazz is a favourite of mine and has lots of excellent stuff.
Superb album two fifty and loved your story about back then
I saw them in a small club in Brighton under the arches on the seafront on that tour
It held about 250 people and it was really hot in there…like a steam room
I remember them playing The Drifter and it was stunning
Just such a tight band and a great gig and memory
Willow Smiths empathgen. I did not expect it to be as good as it is. Symptom of live is amazing
