What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

All chores done and have the rest of the day to myself.
Commuted the 50 meters down to the cabin for some quality listening with no interruptions.
Starting with a classic that should get the “Anniversary” treatment next year…:crossed_fingers:t4:

Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
Edit: Quick media change. Original vinyl coming out for a play. Not a regular occurrence, but just felt right today😊

Second Edit: OH WOW! First time I’ve played this through the SuperLine. Simply *MAGICAL!*

Music from another planet. Still out there today so much to take in and I hear something different every time I play it.

Genesis. 1976. Vinyl. A career high point to my ears. Hackett still on board. Really strong songs including the incredibly beautiful " Ripples".

Plus great artwork which relates to the songs.

Keith Jarrett - 1975 - The Koln Concert - Label - ECM - Vinyl ( Japanese 1975 issue)

This is a live double album recorded at the Opera House in Koln on 24th January 1975 and released later that same year. It is arguably KJ finest hour playing a selection of four solo improvisations.

For some unknown reason @Collywobbles I still don’t own a copy of A Trick of the Tail on Vinyl. I must correct that as soon as possible🤔
Continuing my session with another classic, this one pressed in 1972😊

Following a chat in another thread about the Ludwig cut of LZII, and a video reviewer dissing the first two Japan issues as awful…had to play this! Reviewer is so wrong…

Yeah a great album and like you the Hackett songs are stunning.Entangled and Ripples.
The artwork just compliments the songs and the new Genesis logo is perfect.
I don’t think they could have got a better cover then what Hipnosis did .

Here they were on The Trick Of The Tail tour in 1976
