What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

A video of John Otway popped up on facebook. Saw him with Wild Willy at the Lyceum in London.
This album seems far too tame….but memories.

‘Fly By Night’ – Rush

Picked up this 1975 original (with insert!) yesterday for a bargain but upon inspection didn’t look that promising.

That said, it’s a 50-year record. Get over the crackles between the tracks and the SQ is wonderful (though ruinous on the delicate ‘Rivendell’, sadly).

Rush getting into gear – super album.

Ryuichi Sakamoto (Piano).

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… a mention from @Daan above had me place in queue and I am now taking Ryuichi out for a spin… and the music is sounding sublime!

I was there too. If memory serves it was the night that Maradonna’s ‘hand of God’ knocked England out of the World Cup.
