I just came on here to post this as had it recommended by a friend! Absolutely enchanting music.
Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse Of Reason / Discovery Edition - CD (1987)
There’s been a lot of Dave Gilmour / Roger Waters played over the last couple of days, so with this being released 37 years ago today 08/09/87, seems a good reason to give this a spin, not the best Pink Floyd and its a Dave Gilmour effort with Roger having left the Floyd.
Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow.
Off to see Costello & Nieve tonight so I’m warming up with Disc 1 from this 5 disc live set from 1996. I’ve not bought his recent stuff so I’m not entirely sure what to expect. Hopefully he performs some stuff I can sing along to as well as his new stuff and the inevitable covers. Uniti Core.
Enjoy the gig tonight
Thank you
Glad you’re enjoying RC, most of his stuff is available on Qobuz now as well.
But but but … would you even use it? If so, why, when you could use your lovely LP12?
I know…
It is a nostalgia thing. I have considered all the extras that would be required as well (Phono Stage, Shelf Space, Cables, potential refurb costs, Cartridge) and realise that a £500 TD160 would become at least a £1000 exercise in futility @bhoyo
