What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

Couldn’t decide on Bob Dylan or Ryan Adams, so I went for Dylan Adams😉

Only UK stations are available in UK, something to do with copyright. The whole world was available when I first loaded the app but no more

Yes,

I read about this after I posted.

Too bad as its fun checking out iRadio stations based on location. Especially remote locations.

J.J. Cale - Troubadour - 1976

Prompted by a track played on Radio Paradise this morning. Ride Me High in fact, must have been pinched by the Stone Roses by the sound of it?

After the festive holiday it’s quiet and a bit lonely, so I’ve put on Kate to keep me company (whilst I work )

CD 2, totally missed this in 1998 but then we had 3 kids under 4 that year!

As well as being a great collection it sounds absolutely wonderful, one to make you glad you have a good system.

Is this an official release or is it compiled from the GRP Super Live album and given different cover art?

That was my gateway drug into the entire genre. I still play it regularly, and use Bug Powder Dust as my system’s bass workout.

Eleni Karaindrou (Piano), Vangelis Christopoulos (Oboe), Socratis Sinopoulos (Constantinoble Lyra), Stella Gadedi (Flute), Socratis Anthis (Trumpet), Spyros Kazianis (Bassoon), Aristotelis Dimitriadis (Mandolin), Traditional Instruments Ensemble: Hellenic Radio/Television Choir, Maria Farantourim (Vocals), Maria Bildea (Harp), Konstantinos Raptis (Accordion), Sergiu Nastasa (Violin), Renato Ripo (Violoncello), Nikos Guinos (Clarinet), Vangelis Skouras (French Horn), Antonis Kontogeorgiou (Choir Director) and Camerata Orchestra: Alexandros Myrat (Conductor Instruments).

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… eased into the morning with Eleni and she along with this large ensemble of musicians are sounding sublime! A lovely way to great this cool, damp and overcast morning. Life is sweet!
