try Hummingbird. I am very fond of that one.
Martha Velez - Friends & Angles - 1969 - 1st London Label Issue - Vinyl.
Joplin-esque debut features Eric Clapton Jack Bruce.
Les Claypool - Of Whales and Woe (2024, remaster, from the Adverse Yaw box-set)
By far the best thing Les has put out. One Better is a giddy delight and has one of the most jaw-dropping bass solos that beggars belief.
Sound quality of the remaster? Impossible to say considering I’ve changed nearly every aspect of my system since listening to my original pressing but this is very good with oodles of detail.
Bobby Hutcherson Happenings / 1986 Blue Note / Japan CD No Obi / CP325217

Thanks James, I’ll put that on my list for tonight.
Playing this 1975 beauty in its entirety today as Catch The Rainbow popped up as I was driving through rural Herefordshire yesterday.
I was also musing on how good Richie Blackmore’s slower, more melodic solos are.
A perfect spot with a perfect accompanying tune on, it was more than acceptable.
I remember buying it on release, but sadly it is long lost!
The Chemical Brothers. Promotional CD from Sunday Times 2010.
Not played this before, and very likely won’t play it again. Unless I need to interrogate someone.

Cheers Ian, Great post, Its a great layout, and the composition of his shots are excellent, considering the layout is situated in the loft
Good to hear Henry is crazy about trains, I must have been a similar age when I caught the bug, but I was lucky, my father had a layout, its a great hobby to have.
Enjoy the rest of your day Mate.
