The Who - Quadrophenia
@DrMark recently described this as a “perfect album”. Of course he’s absolutely right, this being without doubt Townshend’s magnum opus.
Although I have several copies and remasters in various formats (including musicassette, which was the first version I purchased, today I’m playing the 24 bit, 96kHz version on Qobuz (the one with the red outline) which sounds better than all the others.
Must go; can’t miss the 5:15.

It’s lyrically smart too, the urgent, marching, adrenaline-and-fuzz-fuelled opener Maktub sending out a rallying cry for revolution from the off, while the uneasy jazz-club swing of the title track decries the impersonal, fake, filtered modern life of mobile-phone imprisonment.
