Superbly atmospheric and evocative like most PJ Harvey’s creations are.

For Easter

This version of Allegri’s Miseri is outstanding with baroque ornamentation for 9 voices. Sounds magical, with the reverb of the voices where it was recorded, the cellier of Vivoin Priory, beautifully filling my room.

If it keeps on raining, I’m going to break. Only the thought of summer travels keeping me sane.

I have to admit this is one I seldom listen too, more than likely due to what was about to followed. I do love all the early Dylan so I really should give this more love

After a wild moorland walk a couple of beers in the remote Lion Inn Blakey Ridge. So it had to be these lads - Back Door, the house band for the pub way back in the day. Tight as a tight thing. CD rip via hires portable.

Enjoying…

Kacey Musgraves | Deeper Well

Why? Because, it sounded so good first time round, so giving it another ‘spin’.

Such a ‘clean sounding’ recording, a return to earlier form with this latest release. Great album to sit back and relax to.
