From 2002, a double CD of black-polo-necked MOR jazz-soul cool from Roy, Tab and Trevor. Contains the immortal “On A Clear Day You Can See Forever”. Of course it does!

Duran Duran. Ordinary World, from The Wedding Album 1993. Almost certainly their best song and with powerful lyrics. On repeat.

“Then one day we were jamming all together in the room with headphones and Warren and I collided chord-ically and melodically, which sent a little shiver down our spines. Simon came up with a melody on top of what we were playing and it became “Ordinary World.” At that point, we knew we had something VERY special. It is rare to find something unique and powerful and emotional - and Simon nailed that lyric, probably the best of his career.” Nick Rhodes.
