I would join the fans and play some Souixsie and the Banshees this weekend, but Mrs Q is really not a fan.
Instead I will play something for her, that being her favourite BCC album.

Katherine Priddy - The Pendulum Swing - green vinyl launch edition
Excellent new folk album. She’s a fine singer songwriter, beautiful voice and well written songs, with a really good band supporting her classy arrangements.

Richard Thompson - Guitar, Vocal - Hannibal 1980s repress vinyl
A compilation of rarities from the first decade (‘67-‘76) of the great guitarist singer songwriter’s career. A set of Fairport tracks, largely covers, with Judy Dyble on one track and Sandy on several, some Richard and Linda songs and a couple of Richard and his trusty Martin (pre Lowden choice) acoustic numbers. Masterful guitar work from the young genius, great vocals from Sandy and Linda and a classic folk rock rhythm section make for great listening. It finishes with a compelling Calvary Cross.
