Today’s booty from the postman.
Hölderlins - Hölderlins Traum. Latest addition to my growing collection of sixties/seventies Cosmiche albums. There’s something about German bands from this period, and particularly female vocals, that just does it for me.
Larry Carlton Alone/But Never Alone / 2016 MCA / Japan SHM CD / UCCU5809
First spin of this newly purchased CD, to replace my US copy that got damaged.
A.R. and Machines - Die Grüne Reise. More early seventies (71) German experimentation. A.R. is Achim Reichel, who, in an earlier life, fronted The Rattles, the support band on the Beatles’ last European tour. The Machines are, erm, machines, with the addition of Hans “Flippermunde” Lampe on percussion. This is his first and best album under the A.R. name.
thanks, didn’t realize she had a new album out. ordered.

Nathaniel Rateliff - And It’s Still Alright
Santana - Samba Pa Ti, an excellent compilation, comprising some of their more popular guitar focused instrumentals. Plenty of Carlos!
the Beatles - 1965 - Rubber Soul - Label - Parlophone - Vinyl (from the mono box set).
Produced by George Martin Rubber Soul was the Beatles sixth studio album.
The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - CD (1967)
57 Years ago started a 23 week run at No.1 on the UK album chart.
Much better album than some of the reviews suggest. Lovely SQ. Really enjoyable album I missed on release. Vinyl.
