Garry I total concur with @Rigsby21 with his comments about a Rega P3
Its a lovely sounding deck for the money if you want to play some vinyl
Years ago a mate had a P3 rewired the RB300 arm and a new arm cable going to the amp.
Added a techno weight on the arm and changed the power supply and resprayed the plinth gold as it was a gift to his girlfriend. It most probably cost about him about £400 in all.
I borrowed it for a week in my system and I was staggered just how great it sounded.
It was like focusing a camera and everything became so much sharper image wise.

Its really how much you want to get back into the vinyl with the cost of new and all the fath like cleaning it …it can sound amazing with well recorded albums but also avearage with some.If I didnt have 4000 albums I dont think I would bother with it now.
I love the convenience of CD s and their track access and easy to keep clean .
This is a mates Pink Triangle Anniversary with SME V arm …sounds lovely very neutral sounding …I only post as you are a fellow Pink Triangle owner
