Just listening to “Fable of a Failed Race” on Spotify. This is from the extended version, ie not the original album release.

I saw Hawkwind in the late 80s and was struck by just how melodic they were : not Brainstorm/Doremi type tunes at all

Following up on few recent IDLES posts. I discovered IDLES when they played their first Glastonbury gig some years ago and I thought they were great, something that was refreshing and exciting other than the norm.
This is a good live set, though not Glasto this time!
