Back into the John Mayall CD box set:
Tone Poet LP - sounds great (admittedly a very good recording in the first place).
Bought dirt cheap, this morning, so first play
Bruce Springsteen - Lucky Town, thought it was about time to acquire the sister album to Human Touch.
Just listening to “Fable of a Failed Race” on Spotify. This is from the extended version, ie not the original album release.
I saw Hawkwind in the late 80s and was struck by just how melodic they were : not Brainstorm/Doremi type tunes at all
A very good quality audience recording of Nick and his Saucers’ sensational Albert Hall show from last Saturday…
Ooh… Spose it’s not going to be widely available then
Shame, it was such a powerful set.
I’ll sort you out Steve… the postman may be making a delivery shortly
A really enjoyable compilation. Uniti Core.
Following up on few recent IDLES posts. I discovered IDLES when they played their first Glastonbury gig some years ago and I thought they were great, something that was refreshing and exciting other than the norm.
This is a good live set, though not Glasto this time!
Bless you, Kev.
We can do swapsies…
