What are you preparing for dinner tonight?

Maybe Matt Hanc*ck’s favourite - Kanga penis with tomato and horseradish?

Watch your teeth on that one

I thought that might hit a little to close to home… :rofl:

When I was young there were two that nothing today seems to match.
Most food came by delivery, Saturday morning was butcher, baker and grocer. Hence lunch was fresh from delivery
Crispy cob rolls, cheddar cheese with rind on and Blackbird butter, or
Real bacon, rind on, in warm farmhouse bread and possibly Daddies sauce.
As regards beef sandwiches, possibly, when I was older, the only food served at the pub on Sunday night was the leftover meat, the beef sandwiches spread with dripping.

Don’t forget the plain old tomato sandwich.

I’d say there’s a a few sangas that I’d consider better, one (and I can hear you laugh) is baked beans/butter on fresh white bread in a dash of pepper. Another would be a chicken schniti with homemade coleslaw and cheese on a baguette for starters.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well I didn’t mention vegimite :grin:

Traditional Norwegian christmas food; pinnekjøtt, potatoes and other sidedishes. Going to be nice. With a good friend. And christmas beer .
