Fish soup with home baked bread. Onions, crayfish stock, noilly prat, double cream, vegetables, cod, salmon and shrimps.
Started tonight’s chilli around lunch time, think it’s best to let things mix for few hours. Just reheat before serving.
My hearty Beef Stew, nice chunks of very tender beef … one of our favs. Served with bread and butter, of course. It’s a tad messy because I ate half of it before I remembered to take a pic.
Washed down with a delicious M. Chapoutier Cotes de Roussillon-Villages. It’s only a 2021, but it’s ready now. Nice and earthy, very smooth, excellent dark fruits.
Who doesn’t love a good stir fry
I know it’s not Sunday, but couldn’t resist having roast leg of lamb.
I’m not a fan of having it pink - or very well done so it falls apart. Liking somewhere in the middle.
With spring greens. Tenderstems, roast potatoes and of course lashings of gravy.
