I thought it was a thin noodle, think he like cheese more than the veggies.
He would be better off making risotto instead of pasta.

I am only recently getting what Risotto is about.
My first few attempts was just bland stodgy savoury rice pudding.
Things would have stayed that way but from a deep dive.
Never had a memorable one from a good restaurant.
Tried a Jamie Oliver recipe. God bless him but went in the bin.
Only now getting what risottos are about and yes Parmesan isn’t just a cheese, it’s a state of mind…

There’s MSG and there is MSG.
This one is one of the best.
Folk often have a knee jerk reaction of what MSG is.
Some will be of lower quality of course often thought to be a chemical byproduct of some evil unnatural process to cause blindness and baldness.
More often than not a distillation of seaweed fermentation.
Perfectly normal and made inside the body as well: it’s just the sodium hemi-salt of glutamate (the α-aminoacid glutamic acid).
In the body, glutamate is even used as a neurotransmitter.
