What are you preparing for dinner tonight?

Whoohoo! Managed to cook a proper meal from scratch this evening, first since the surgery. Satisfying on several levels, tomato, garlic and chiili spaghetti.

I left my lemon slices in the kitchen, fortunately I remembered them just before we started eating!

Once again, it’s Dave’s renowned Pork, Chorizo and Butterbean stew for dinner this evening.

Actually, it’s not … … … it’s Jay Rayner’s renowned etc., etc. … … … (as is the picture).

If you’ve not yet attempted this, get busy, since it’s tasty, tasty, very very tasty. :face_savoring_food: :face_savoring_food:

Was having withdrawal symptoms so braved the outdoors.

Best day so far in the year for pizza from the ooni.

This was topped with some Montagna Nduja and Geca Spicy Salsiccia.

Mrs Duck is away so I can cook things that aren’t normally allowed. Pan fried Barnsley chop, mash, steamed broccoli and a quick red wine and redcurrant jelly made from pan juices. Nom nom nom

Not for tonight, as they need 2 or 3 days in the fridge for the flavours to develop - duck rilletes with Cognac and orange zest. A long process, but good fun.
