Which Ooni do you have??

Hi. Ooni Karu 12 multi fuel.
I used the gas last few times. Too chilly and windy to mess about with the wood option.
Love it.

Yeah, I get it. I have a Fyra 12 and really like it - but wouldn’t think of hauling it out in the winter. Have wondered if the multi fuel option is the way to go.

Using gas I still keep the chimney connected.
I find used like Ooni recommended with it removed and plugged gives too much of that gas cooked flavour.

Cottage pie, very filling. Big red Spanish wine to go with it.

A habanero pork sausage with salad in a wrap before being rolled up. A lighter dinner.

A roast chicken done well is very underrated and a fav at our place.

With a warm day here, I decided to have the first BBQ of the year here, also because I can manage to do it.

Turned out okay.

That looks damn good. I see there’s a Thomasina Miers recipe for this - is that one you follow or do you have another one? Thanks

Yep that’s the recipe I used but with a few tweaks..

  • par boil the celeriac slices, as we use a ceramic dish to bake it in, which takes a while to warm up in the oven and we found them abit underdone in other gratins.
  • Reduce to stock quantity to give a creamier sauce.
  • More cheese :face_savoring_food:
