Down under, but not sure about the sideways photo…
By the way: is it local beer? Produced in the region? Seems an interesting mix of flavours…
It’s from Marlborough, which is one of the main wine and hop regions in the South Island of New Zealand. We’re in Northland at the other end of country.
With a small bowl of hot chilli Mexican minced beef and kidney beans for lunch.
Modelo seems to have a touch more flavour than Corona with a nice dry pilsner finish. Especially with a wedge of lime wodged in the bottle.
Try it with a slice of lemon in it
Use to to be one of my favourite beers, haven’t drunk one for awhile. Might have change that.
Excellent choice Dave, discovered this in Brighton, at a family wedding a couple of years back. The hotel soon ran out of supplies, as you say, very moreish

Had a busy day in the garden and cleaning the house.
This is really hitting the spot for a parched chap.
Similarly parched after a day trolling around Florence, especially the Uffizi. Sharing a chilly bottle of Giovanni Peroni with Mrs Ebor was a lovely wind-down:
Lockdown seems mercifully distant right now.

Had this @ Helsinki craft beer festival. Very much like a lambic; glass says: “Great beers, small breweries”.
I remember when I was in Aotearoa 20 years ago (jeez I feel old) I liked the beers from a brewery called McCashins(?) something like that - are they still going ?
By the way I’m just finishing a Shipyard IPA and following up with a Timothy Taylor Landlord.
If only I could have a pint of that today
I am very much switching to tea and water only, I find that alcohol, even small amounts such as a small bottle of beer really affect me. Not a hangover in the normal sense I just feel ill. And just as I was getting the taste for Gin and tonic!
I have never been a ‘drinker’ mind.
God I hope that’s not contagious.
