I listen exclusively to streaming now and I think the reason that’s so is because of the capabilities of the Ansuz products, especially the Powerswitch. I had an X-TC first to try and see how well it performed. I was amazed! The difference between the X-TC and the D3 is miles…as it should be based on the cost. Really didn’t compare them to anything else. I am a bit smitten with Audio Group Denmark products, I just think they are phenomenal.
Not much to say about the 01 SSEs. Best speakers I’ve ever owned. Only speaker I would ever want in place of them is the Borressen M1 and really not by much.
@Blackbird yup the Valhalla 2 is amazing.. got a power cord 3 weeks ago after months of waiting currently has a run in of 130 hrs.. gonna order another 2 more … soon , and hopefully the SP too , and mix some ansuz into the system..
Great to see you’ve managed to get one. Whoever made it for you looks to have done a very professional job. Whilst it may be bigger than you expected, it looks very reliable and very safe
Added the SBooster BOTWmk2 to the Clearaudio Concept.
The warning was, this item needs at least 100 hours of “running in” however, the first feedback is very good.
But damn is this thing ugly,….
@Blacknote hi … the Valhalla 2 is in another league comparing to the Norse 2,especially tyr2 been the highest in Norse series. It’s miles apart in terms of everything, am blown away by its performance.
It beefed up the rest of my cables , making them work to the fullest of what they can perform.
A very dangerous cable because it makes you crave for more of the Valhalla range . Very happy and blessed that I made the purchase . Have a listen to them at your dealers .
Hi @naimophile, I doubt I’ll be lucky enough to hear Valhalla 2 cables, but I would be curious to make a comparison along the different series to understand their philosophy. Norse 2 cables are already great IMO so the curiosity itches, especially after your enthusiastic post. However I believe Valhalla 2 cables need high end gear like yours to be fully appreciated, I’m happy that you are satisfied with your choice!
Excellent. There are lots of excellent Ghibli films. If your Totoro DVD is like ours, you can watch in Japanese with English subtitles. It’s much more enjoyable that way.
This arrived in the post earlier. Changes in equipment location meant that my 1.5m cable was at its absolute limit, and this 3m one will make things easier. The 1.5m has been repurposed to connect my NAS to the switch.
Just deployed a set of Gaii II’s on to my recently acquired Kudos 606’s. Quite surprised how much they clear up the sound.
They are still just sat on carpet at the moment, but i do have a set of the spiked plates to go underneath them once I am happy with the position of the speakers.
