I bought the Bluesound Pulse + Soundbar very cheaply because I need space and sold my Nait 2 CB, my Kans are still there but I think the soundbar is very good, and it doesn’t have a woofer, and has an integrated radio and all the functions of a Node.

Congrats on the ethernet cable. What made you choose it? Are you using it as the last leg in your network? i.e. to your streamer?
Oh, badgers, I agree. But don’t you think that Linn components names are a bit ridiculous? Euphorik, Ekstatik….
It doesn’t mean that their products, and in this case the cartridge, are not good.

Thanks. I recently upgraded my custom server with a Jcat Net Evo, and I wanted a decent Ethernet cable for the new server. I was looking for cables in the 1k range, and I reduced my selection to FTA Metis and Pink Faun Interlink Ethernet. Some people said that PF was warmer and FTA was more neutral and musical, and wanted that.
I still need to work on my network. I currently have a Gustard N18, and I’m looking between LHY SW6 or SW10, Matrix SS-1 Pro, Innous PhoenixNET, and Pura Ammonite Elite. @Peder , can you comment on your experiences with the switch?

Yup…I might have asked my dealer for a nominal credit and moved on. I would never see it anyway since it’s at the back of the case. Life’s too short to keep iterating towards perfection.

It is IMO, considering the cost of the item. But as @JosquinDesPrez says, while not acceptable, I would probably have accepted a credit instead of returning.

Stack Audio AUVA EQ isolators for under my Server, DAC and preamp./PSU.
Very, very much worth the reasonable outlay.
Another layer of grunge and a widow opens up a bit further on my system.
Along with absolutely no drawbacks, perhaps just a slight “calming down” of the presentation.
Which is most welcome, as I’ve a slightly bright room anyway, and I’ve been going mad with trying solutions to deal with that.
So I would say that I’ve just got lucky with that by product of these isolators.

When manufacturers demand such high prices then they should be held to high standards. Marks like this on a brand new unit are simply unacceptable. If we start accepting things like this then we are at the thin end of the wedge: what next?
