That was my plan until i bought a n-DAC at the weekend. So much for me not buying anything in the next few months lol!
It’s interesting…that on this forum there seems to be a sense that ‘Linn is expensive’. Does anyone think that Naim is not expensive? Maybe the question should be about the cost of like-for-like sound quality, avoiding tribalism.

Yep. It’s my third cart over the last twelve years and first since just before covid. The other two carts were Kandids. Ekstatik is a significant step up imho and had been planned for years ever since it was announced. Just had to be patient for my previous Kandid to show signs of wear. That took an awful lot of self discipline to wait. Sounds wonderful and looks good too…

NVC TT in situ. Perhaps overkill for a Rega P8 and MM ND7 but love the simplicity hooked up to the 222/300 and sound opens up over the internal phono.

I’m still happy with the NAIT50 but, as good as it is, I’m missing my previous 82/250 so took the plunge with a late, POTS8 NAC52 with FSH from new
It currently looks a bit lonely and lifeless on the rack without any illumination but all things come to he who waits…

Bluesound Powernode Edge for the living room. Swiss Army Knife gadget - amp, streamer, has Bluetooth, Apple Airplay, Tidal Connect and HDMI Arc for the tv. Best of all it’s tiny. Works well with my JBLs too

Soundescape acoustic curtains. Cover to 21 db.
Ordered today.
My titles floor and big windows are not the best friend for the sound quality.
I made already some acoustic treatment, but want to pursue a bit with that curtains.
I will have to find a bigger nice rug too.
