Trouble is you need a piano sized CD player to show it.
Seriously though, the Accuphase is one gorgeous bit of kit.

No it’s what Accuphase call their entry level CD player so no sacd. That facility costs a couple of thousand more if you can find one.

Yupp I am
Very nice project, I have a Sony CDP-227 esd kicking around somewhere, It still works, but it has been subjected to a few modifications !
that’s very nice, which wood is it?
Got the Kanta 1’s warming up this evening, seem to suit the room better than my PMC’s anyway, they’ll move to another larger room to handle front channels for 5.1 AV.
Wow new speakers for you @Mr.M Congratulations. I like the color choice as well (or is it colour for you)
Warren Haynes. Think he might have taught Derek a trick or two
To be honest I got a good deal on the flooring and kept with the grey…
Misses hates it as it was supposed to be a ‘family room’
She especially hates the Naim artwork
Nice to hear! It’s time for me to try other speaker cables so it seems like it’s time to call HifiExperience👍
Can’t praise the acoustic panels enough thou… pretty sure I haven’t positioned them properly but the difference is staggering!
What’s the switch like? Did it make a difference?
I tried a high end network cable and it sounded awful??
Fancied a change!
Actually had an eye on getting some
initially to do a Kanta 5.1 setup and putting these on the rear L/R channels but using them on the SN3 for now. It’s a fairly compact room so figured try them out as an alternative to the PMC’s.
Spent most of the day moving the room around trying out various layout options only to end up pretty much as I started the process
I’ve been enjoying them this evening anyway, was a good excuse to tear it all down and give it a dust and a nut tighten!
They’re a matt grey front with walnut sides, and it’s colour over here in Berkshire, UK
If it made any difference? Yes, in my system it really did, what a difference! Everything is better, the base much clearer and with much better weight, space and flair. The voices … well, like opening a window, or two, to use a worn-out cliché. This is without a doubt the most affordable upgrade I have made to my system. I use chords original cable that came with the switch, so if you have not tried the switch yet my suggestion is that you really do that.
I have heard nagra classic sets on demo
sounded clear , detailed , and forward
but I have not compared the nagra sound to naim separates .
how do u compare the sound difference between nagra and naim ?
Curious how the LUMIN compares to the 272. My original plan was to add a LUMIN U1 to my ndx unfortunately I went down a rabbit hole where plans and actions diverge.
That’s a nice unit, do you know I think I have one also in the loft, I must have a clear out and see what is still lurking in there!
Just picked up an achromat for the Rega… Not expecting any great sound improvement but the felt mat is a magnet for every cat and dog hair in the house…
They look like GFK monster bass traps I tried last year.
Very nice and imposing looking system
