The Black Keys | Attack & Release (Deluxe Edition) with DVD
Sabrina Malheiros Clareia - daughter of Azymuth’s Alex Malheiros, CD ordered - should be here on Tuesday (18th) - now arriving on Thursday (20th)! Now been messaged it will be Saturday!
Three CDs of game-changing big band music from the pre-war period. At £10 for this triple set, which has pretty decent SQ and excellent sleevenotes, it’s a fantastic bargain…
Junior Kimbrough - Most Things Haven’t Worked Out.
In line with all the love on the forum for the Black Keys “Delta Kream” album, which has several of Junior’s songs, I’ve been Tidalising this album for a taste of the originals.
It’s on Amazon with a few pennies off for June delivery, so, call me so last Century, but it’s always nice to have the hard copy, innit.
Incognito bees + things + flowers / Japan Promo CD, hopefully this will be arriving on Monday!
EDIT - Just arrived playing next!
Love those John Barry themes, Kev.
I’m a big fan of Wally Stott’s arrangements for Scott Walker and others, and I love London, so at £3, this él Records CD seems like a good punt…
A couple of classics…
Bobbie Gentry - The Delta Sweete (2020 twin disc remaster).
Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley.
Gil Scott-Heron - Pieces of a Man.
Gil Scott-Heron - We’re New Here (remixed by Jamie xx).
Ian Dury - New Boots and Panties.
Another él Records bargain - two-CD set set for under £4! Quality!
