Saw the Kinks tribute concert a couple of years ago at our local music festival. Held in St. Nicholas church which was designed for prayer and repentance. Bloody uncomfortable and no refreshment.
John Ethridge was the guitarist.
Dylan Howe’s first night. He must have learnt the drum part by remote
means. Not a beat was missed. BC seemed pleased.

A few weeks ago a friend came over with bunch of RSD limited edition records and winner of the day was this Lost Session from the Black Forest.
I cheaped out and got the CD instead. Fantastic sound and reading of Chopin Beuceuse infused title tune Some Other Time is better than Studio release, imho.
This is a 2 CD set but there is no filler in every tune. Highly recommended.

Great footage of a great concert… Blu-ray Disc is simply superb… when confronted to such audio quality, any debate about vinyl or CD is deprived of any significance… Strictly personal opinion
